Built for selling an electric car.
Priced like an EV, not a gas car
Battery health, range and remaining battery warranty all go into your number — the things that actually decide what a used EV is worth.
No strangers, no range interrogations
Skip the listing, the “how far does it really go?” messages and the test drives. One offer, from one licensed buyer.
Paid on the spot, loan handled
Cheque, bank draft or e-transfer when you hand over the keys. Still financing it? We pay your lender directly and you get the difference.

Three ways to sell an EV.
A private sale can get you top dollar — if you’re ready to answer every battery and charging question yourself. Notice which option saves you the most time, stress and risk.
| Compare | Private sale | CARME Auto | Dealer trade-in |
|---|---|---|---|
| Time to a firm number | Weeks of messages | About a minute, online | An afternoon at the dealer |
| Battery health in the price | Up to you to prove it | Built into your offer | Rolled into trade value |
| Range & charging questions | Endless | None | Some |
| Have to buy a car? | No | Never | Usually |
| Paperwork & loan payout | All on you | We handle it | They handle it |
| Getting paid | Whatever the buyer brings, at your risk | On the spot — cheque, bank draft or e-transfer | Credit toward your next car |
Do you buy Teslas?
Yes — Model 3, Model Y, Model S and Model X, along with every other major EV brand.
Do you buy EVs with high kilometres or battery wear?
Yes. Battery health and range are part of how we price your car, so an older or high-kilometre EV still gets a real offer.
Do you buy plug-in hybrids?
Yes — plug-in hybrids such as the Toyota RAV4 Prime, Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV and Volvo Recharge models, as well as fully electric cars.
What should I do before I hand over my EV?
Unlink the car from your app account and delete any phone keys, factory-reset the touchscreen to clear your data, and gather the mobile charger, adapters and every key or key card. If you received a federal iZEV rebate, check the minimum ownership period in your purchase agreement first.
Is it a real offer or an estimate?
It’s a real offer, good for up to 14 days. When we meet, we check that the condition, history and kilometres match what you told us. If anything is different, we’ll explain any change before you decide.
Do I have to sell if I get an offer?
No. Getting an offer is free and there’s no obligation. Say yes, or walk away — no follow-up pressure. The decision is always yours.
I still owe money on my car. Can I still sell it?
Yes. We pay your lender directly and you get the difference. There’s a $299 lien payout fee, and lenders usually take 10–30 days to release the lien.
How do I get paid?
We pay you on the spot — by cheque, bank draft or e-transfer. Every deal is different, so we work with you to make it stress-free and at your convenience.
You’re one minute away from knowing what your EV is worth.
Free, no obligation — and the decision is always yours.
